TVLine is reporting that “Prison Break” actor Robert Knepper has joined the cast of “Arrow” as William Tockman, AKA “Clock King.” In the world of “Arrow,” Clock King reportedly got his nickname due to “being a brilliant criminal who plans his crimes with the utmost precision, down to the second.”
Clock King debuted in World’s Finest Comics #111 in 1960 where he was in fact a villain for Green Arrow. Using a variety of clock-themed gadgets, and sometimes a clock-themed outfit, he was recruited into the Suicide Squad at a later point.
“Arrow” has heavily expanded its comic book roster in its new season to include many comic books characters. Among them are Summer Glau as Isabel Rochev, Caity Lotz as Black Canary, Michael Jai White as Bronze Tiger, Kevin Alejandro as Sebastian Blood, Bex Taylor-Klaus as Sin, Dylan Neal as Dr. Anthony Ivo, Katrina Law as Nyssa al Ghul, Graham Shiels as Cyrus Gold, and Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash.
“Arrow” airs Wednesdays at 8 P.M. ET/PT on The CW.
