The new Rocket League update 1.27 has been deployed on PS4, Xbox One and PC, following Psyonix’s recent Steam success. A full loadout of Rocket League update patch notes have been provided by the studio, following the initial launch of 1GB+ download.
These include:
CASUAL PLAYLISTS AND ROCKET LAB ARENAS
Added Utopia Coliseum (Snowy) into the Snow Day Playlist
BUG FIXES
An experimental goal-post collision fix has been deployed
Removed the “GO!” counter in Custom Training
‘Seamless Bot Replacement’ in Unranked online matches should now work as originally intended
Fixed an issue where players were stuck in the Replay Menu after deleting certain replays
Fixed an issue where selecting ‘Free Play’ forced the Loading Screen
Fixed an issue where Emoji entry on Xbox One was not displaying in some cases
UI scale setting in options should now save on PlayStation 4
Fix for rank label updating for division text and changing colors
The biggest tweak appears to be the goal-post collision fix that has been deployed, which is currently being tested out by the community.
“I’ve noticed some strange shots going in that really shouldn’t,” one player commented. “Also, the side ramp seems a bit TOO sticky now. To the point where a ball bounced on the ramp and ended up rolling up the wall as opposed to bouncing off as it should.”
According to Sony, Rocket League was the most downloaded game of 2016, beating the likes of Battlefield 1, Minecraft and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
