G will be launching the G2 smartphone on 100 carriers within months of its launch, according to a report. The electronics manufacturer could potentially have learned from its slow rollout of the preceding Optimus G Pro, which the company initially launched in South Korea in April and in the US in May, and later announcing a rollout to 40 more countries in the third quarter.
The report on MK News states that the G2 will be appearing on a total of 100 carriers globally within three months, with the initial shipments headed to South Korea and the US in August, followed by areas of Europe in September, with the rest of the world receiving the device by the end of October.
The LG G2 is expected to launch at a media event on August 7th, and is believed to have a 5.2-inch 1080p display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor running at 2.3GHz, 3GB of RAM, and rear-mounted controls.
