According to The Hollywood Reporter, Millennium films has landed the killer trio of Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool), Samuel L. Jackson (Avengers: Age of Ultron) and Gary Oldman (The Dark Knight Rises) to lead their latest action extravaganza Hitman’s Bodyguard.
Here’s the synopsis:
The world’s top protection agent (Reynolds) has a new client: a hit man who has come in from the cold. They’ve been on opposite ends of a bullet for years and hate one another. Now they’re stuck together and have 24 hours to get to the Hague. Oldman will play a villain.
Jeff Wadlow of Kick-Ass 2 and Never Back Down fame will direct Hitman’s Bodyguard from a script by Tom O’Connor (Fire with Fire), with production set to start on April 4 in the United Kingdom, Amsterdam and Sofia. Mark Gill, John Thompson, Matt O’Toole and Les Weldon will produce.
Reynolds will next be seen in Fox’s hotly-anticipated subversive superhero satire Deadpool, while Oldman is currently filming the sci-fi film The Space Between Us with Britt Robertson and Asa Butterfield. Jackson, meanwhile, has four big films coming up, including Quentin Tarantino’s western The Hateful Eight, Legendary’s blockbuster Kong: Skull Island, Warner Bros.’ big budget reboot of Tarzan and the Tim Burton film Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children.
