Samsung helped confirm mysteries surrounding the T-Mobile Galaxy S II. Canadian carrier Telus has confirmed that it will have the same version as T-Mobile adapted as the 4G Galaxy S II X. The 4.5-inch smartphone will both make the switch to a 1.5GHz Snapdragon as well as carry 42Mbps HSPA+ Internet access, making it the first smartphone anywhere to get such speeds without going to LTE.
Telus hasn’t committed to a ship date or price. Presumptions are that it will ship in or near October.
