Jupiter’s next nonogram game has been announced, and it is not a Picross e or Picross S title. Rather, Sanrio Characters Picross is coming to the Nintendo 3DS in Japan on April 25, 2018. For ¥700 (~$6.50), people can grab it.
Sanrio Characters Picross has a rather interesting twist to it. When you complete a puzzle of an iconic character, you get stickers featuring that character and other accessories. These can then be applied to a background to make different scenes. It is even possible to save these screens as an in-game background.
As for puzzles, it looks like Sanrio Characters features a few Jupiter Picross fans will be familiar with. There is the standard sort, and the trailer shows Micross ones too.
