Co-director Robert Rodriguez recently took to Twitter to show off a pair of images from Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, the first (below) a behind-the-scenes look at Josh Brolin shooting a driving scene with, “Here’s bad ass Josh Brolin driving a Rodriguez-mobile. (A green box with a steering wheel bolted on).” The second (above) is “a quick photo touch up I do to set a tone for the actors.”
Brolin plays Dwight, who Clive Owen starred as in the 2005 Sin City.
The script, written by Miller, mixes adaptations of existing Dark Horse comic stories like A Dame to Kill For and “Just Another Saturday Night” with new stories Miller developed for this film. Brolin is joined by Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Bruce Willis, Rosario Dawson, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Dennis Haysbert in the film, which is being shot at Rodriguez’s own Austin-based Troublemaker Studios. Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is set to open on Oct. 4.
