Jeremy Renner stars in the franchise’s fourth installment as Aaron Cross, an agent who is brought into a program similar to the Treadstone operation that trained Jason Bourne (Matt Damon).
Producer Frank Marshall recently revealed that his “dream” is for Renner and Damon to team up on a future Bourne film, while both actors have also responded enthusiastically to the idea.
Renner’s co-lead Rachel Weisz has said that the film’s tone is “very realistic”.
The Bourne Legacy will be released on August 10 in the US, and August 13 in the UK.
