Just days after it was revealed that Matthew Vaughn is boarding Twentieth Century Fox’s upcoming reboot of Fantastic Four comes word, via The Hollywood Reporter, that Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter novelist and screenwriter Seth Grahame-Smith has signed on to do a polish on the screenplay.
Josh Trank will direct, Fantastic Four is targeted for release on March 6, 2015. Vaughn, who directed 2011’s X-Men: First Class, is also producing the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past as well.
Fantastic Four’s screenplay was previously drafted by Jeremy Slater. Grahame-Smith’s big screen resume also includes last year’s Tim Burton project, Dark Shadows.
