AMC has just brought online Seth Rogen‘s handmade Preacher trailer, which features Rogen in every single role. Although Rogen doesn’t appear in the actual show, he and creative partner Evan Goldberg are responsible for developing the series and themselves directing the pilot. This handmade Preacher trailer offers a tongue-in-cheek look at the comic book adaptation in a style similar to the Pineapple Express 2 trailer featured in Rogen and Goldberg’s This is the End. Check it out in the player below!
Preacher fans should also be sure to swing by their local comic book store this week as, to promote the new series, AMC has a special free reprint of the first issue of the comic complete with a brand-new cover by series co-creator and artist Steve Dillon, featuring the TV series versions of Jesse, Tulip and Cassidy. Check it out in the gallery viewer at the bottom of this page.
Preacher is a supernatural, twisted and darkly comedic drama that follows a West Texas preacher named Jesse Custer, who is inhabited by a mysterious entity that causes him to develop a highly-unusual power.
