Microsoft today made an update available to the Windows Phone version of Skype.
The refreshed application adds several new features, chief among them support for HD video calls between compatible devices. The new Skype lets Windows Phone owners make use of either the front or back camera, as well as view video calls in either portrait or landscape mode.
Skype also once again integrates natively with the People Hub in Windows Phone 8.
Skype is free to download and use, though some charges may apply for certain types of phone calls.
