Skype for Windows Phone is finally available for download, though it is only available as a beta at this time.
Skype for Windows Phone beta lets you use all aspects of Skype, with a few caveats. The video chat option is there, of course, assuming you have a front-facing camera to use it with. There’s also voice chat and instant messaging available.
Skype for Windows Phone lets you make free voice and video calls to computers and landlines. New features to the cross-platform offering include group chats for mobile users, called Groupme, which the company has also just announced.

Features Missing and Issues in the Beta
In the beta, however, you can’t receive IMs when Skype isn’t in the foreground, add or remove contacts to your Skype account, nor will you be able to leave voice messages.
Which Phones are Supported
MS has tested and certified Skype for Windows Phone on the Nokia Lumia 710, Lumia 800, HTC Titan, HTC Radar, Samsung Focus S and Samsung Focus Flash.
