Sony has pulled the native Facebook app from the PlayStation store, less than a week after the social networking app became available to download for the company’s Vita handheld. The move is said to have resulted from widespread problems that blocked many users from logging into their Facebook accounts, forcing them to close the app after receiving an error.
The company has reportedly claimed that the issue is a problem with Facebook, rather than the device, though both companies are said to be working together to find a resolution, according to a Eurogamer report.
Sony promises to republish the app to the PlayStation Store after the problem is fixed, however a time-frame for the resolution remains unclear.
