Sprint today announced a new service that allows customers to pick a phone number that reflects their name. The service, which is run by StarStar Me, costs $2.99 per month, lets Sprint customers choose a name, nickname, or other word in place of their mobile phone number, providing, in effect, a vanity phone number.
The service includes an application for Android and iOS devices that lets users manage incoming calls, send text message responses, as well as block calls and view their call log.
To sign up for StarStar Me, Sprint customers can simply call **ME (**63) on their mobile phone or visit http://sprint.starstar.me.
