Sprint has pushed a firmware update to its variant of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and in so doing improved the phone’s LTE download speeds by about 20%. per a report from tPCMag.
The update resolves a software bug that prevented the S8 from properly connecting to Sprint’s Band 41 LTE. Sprint says about 85% of its S8 customers have already applied the update, which was pushed last month.
Sprint delivered a similar update to the HTC U11, which also gained a performance boost in download speeds
