Sprint CEO Dan Hesse said the company is prepared to expand the availability of HD Voice to the entire country on or about July 1.
HD Voice provides clearer voice calls between two HD Voice-compatible phones. The service is available in a few markets and on more than a dozen devices, including the Apple iPhone 5s/5c, LG Nexus 5, and Samsung Galaxy S4 and Note 3.
Sprint had hoped to expand HD Voice to more markets last year, but is now on track to deliver on that commitment by July.
