Disney Pictures and Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi has crossed the $1 billion worldwide mark after three weeks of release with $1.040 billion through December 31st.
That makes it the third highest global release of 2017 and twenty-fourth of all time. As of this weekend, the film also passed Beauty and the Beast to become the top release of 2017 in North America with $517.1 million through Sunday.
The film is expected to pull in $65.6 million for the four-day weekend, including New Year’s Day.
