Stronger Together

Supergirl will touch down on her new home sooner than planned, now that The CW has announced its plan to encore every episode from Season 1, leading up to the Season 2 premiere.

Starting Aug. 1 (or as you may know it, Matt’s Birthday), The CW will air two Supergirl episodes every Monday, starting with the pilot. At that pace, all 20 freshman hours will have unspooled on The CW before the CBS transplant makes its super-official debut on Monday, Oct. 10 at 8/7c (where it will the following week lead into Jane the Virgin).

Among the guest cast on tap for Season 2 of Supergirl, Tyler Hoechlin (Teen Wolf) will appear in the first two episodes as Kara’s cousin aka James’ friend in blue aka Superman aka Kal-El aka Clark Kent, while TV’s erstwhile Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter, will recur as the President of the United States.
