It was known previously that the Super Smash Bros 3DS version was going to get a new stage based on Animal Crossing, now we have picked up news that another stage is on its way too. This time the game is going to get inspired from one of the bestselling titles of Nintendo i.e. Pokemon X and Y.
According to the announcement made by game director Masahiro Sakurai, the new stage (brawling stage to be more smash-bros-appropriate) that they will be adding to the game is going to be based on Pokemon X and Y Lumiose City.
Sakurai made a post on the Nintendo Miiverse the Wii U and 3DS based social network to announce the news. He also shared an image to get your adrenaline juices running:
“Pic of the day. The Prism Tower rises above Lumiose City. Up until a few seconds ago, the fighters were brawling on top of that tower. No, really.”
After being a prime success on older platforms over the past decade and a half, Super Smash Bros 3DS and Wii U version is being developed. It is expected that the game will be released sometime later in this year.
