Following in the wake of the first season finale, SyFy has released the first teaser for the recently renewed Superman prequel series Krypton which returns in 2019.
Set two generations before the destruction of the legendary Man of Steel’s home planet, Krypton follows Superman’s grandfather (Cameron Cuffe) – whose House of El was ostracized and shamed 0 as he fights to redeem his family’s honor and save his beloved world from chaos.
The show is SyFy’s most-watched debut season since 2014 and the most-watched season for any scripted series on the network since Defiance – averaging about 1.8 million viewers a week.
