If the recent trailer for HBO’s upcoming show “True Detective” got you really excited, then this should make you even more ecstatic. T Bone Burnett is officially set to provide the score for the series, which stars Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson. Burnett’s previous composer work includes “O Brother, Where Art Thou?,” “Walk the Line,” “Crazy Heart,” and most recently, he produced the soundtrack for the Coen Brothers’ upcoming movie “Inside Llewyn Davis.” And with Oscar, Golden Globe and BAFTA awards under his belt, his reputation precedes him.
“True Detective” will air on Sunday nights for HBO, starting January 12th.
