T-Mobile today announced the availability of a new device insurance option for some customers. The Monthly4G Handset Protection (MHP) plan offers coverage for accidental damage, water damage, loss, theft, and mechanical or electrical malfunction after the manufacturer’s warranty has expired. The insurance program costs $7 per month and requires a Monthly4G device plan.
