T-Mobile is set to bring back unlimited pre-paid plans on May 22 per rumor. The revised plans, to be called T-Mobile Monthly 4G, are set to add value to the existing plans on offer. The new $70 plan will offer unlimited talk, text, and data. The revamped $50 plan will give customers unlimited talk, text and 100MB of data that will be shaped when the limit is reached. The $50 plan it replaces also offered 100MB of data, but it was cut off when a user reached their quota.
T-Mobile’s recent quarterly results showed that the pre-paid segment is its most rapidly growing customer base. The new plans should help to continue that trend, by retaining existing customers with better values deals, while also attracting new users.
