T-Mobile has officially launched the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the Huawei SpringBoard Android tablets. Both tablets run Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) and include HSPA+ connectivity, which T-Mobile is marketing as 4G. Although official pricing details have not yet been announced, T-Mobile has indicated that the tablets will become available in time for the holiday shopping season.

The Huawei SpringBoard is T-Mobile’s version of its MediaPad. It is equipped with a 5-megapixel rear camera with 720p capability as well as a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera. It centers on a seven-inch IPS touchscreen with a 1280×800 resolution and a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor. It is rumored to be priced at $200 on a two-year contract.

Much has been written about the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. It still retains its 8.6mm thinness and 1.24 pound weight. It continues to run a 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor matched with 1GB of RAM and is centered on a 1280×800 10.1-inch standard LCD display. The main difference with the T-Mobile addition is the faster HSPA+ data connection.
