T-Mobile has released an iPhone version of it s T-Mobile TV app. The app has been available for Android since 2010, but T-Mobile only started selling the iPhone in April. The app comes with 30 days of free access to content like the Associated Press and Fox News, but the bulk of content is behind a subscription paywall.
A $13-per-month plan includes channels like ABC, CBS, NBC, and Disney, Fox, Bloomberg, Comedy Central, and many others. Discounts on subscriptions are available by choosing 90- or 180-day subscriptions, and T-Mobile is selling special themed packs that offer access to content like Spanish-language channels or movies on Crackle.
The app is a free download, and runs on any device with iOS 4.3 or later. It is, however, only optimized for the iPhone and iPod touch, not iPads.
