Tag Heuer has announced plans to create a Swiss-designed smartwatch using Google’s Android Wear platform.
Tag Heuer said it will collaborate with Intel to bring the device to market. The luxury watchmaker expects its device to compete with the Apple Watch, which is seen as a premium device thanks to the $17,000 gold Watch Edition.
Tag Heuer and Intel expect to make their smartwatch available later this year.
