20th Century Fox has also dated Taken 3 for January 9, 2015, set a mystery Ridley Scott film for March 4, 2016 and delayed Paul McGuigan’s Frankenstein nine months, going from January 16 to October 2, 2015.
The new dates have Taken 3 opening opposite Sony Pictures’ genre mash-up comedy The Kitchen Sink, the mystery Scott film going up against an untitled Disney animated feature and Frankenstein becoming the very first to claim that fall 2015 date.
