Telltale Publishing will bring 7 Days to Die, the “survival horde crafting game” from developer The Fun Pimps, to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Telltale Games announced today. 7 Days to Die will get a physical release on those consoles, making this the second Telltale Publishing-released retail game (their first was The Jackbox Party Pack).
Originally released in 2013, 7 Days to Die is currently available on Linux, Mac, SteamOS and Windows PC in Early Access on Steam.
7 Days to Die is set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies. Telltale describes the title as an open-world survival game that combines first-person shooting, survival horror, tower defense, crafting and role-playing elements.
The PS4 and Xbox One versions of 7 Days to Die will feature a new mode: local split-screen multiplayer. Telltale promises downloadable content support for the game, which will retail for $29.99. The publisher is offering a set of five character skins, including Michonne and Lee Everett, from Telltale’s The Walking Dead games as a pre-order incentive for 7 Days to Die.
Expect 7 Days to Die to hit consoles sometime in June.
