Warner Bros. Pictures is moving forward with a sequel to The Accountant.
Deadline reports that director Gavin O’Connor, screenwriter Bill Dubuque and star Ben Affleck are in talks to return for a follow-up to the hit 2016 thriller. The article also notes that the first film’s Jon Bernthal is likely to return as well.
Jean Smart, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Jeffrey Tambor and John Lithgow also stared in the first film. The Accountant pulled in $155 million worldwide on a small budget.
