Following the news about the Blu-ray release of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, Fathom Events and Warner Bros. have announced a three-night event for fans of the series where The Hobbit Trilogy extended editions will be shown featuring an exclusive introduction from director Peter Jackson.
The exclusive series of three in-theater events include The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Extended Edition on October 5, 2015, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug Extended Edition on October 7, 2015, and the world premiere of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies Extended Edition on October 13, 2015. Each event will begin at 7:30 p.m. local time.
