Activision has announced a new campaign for its Call of Duty Endowment, which raises money to help find jobs for military veterans. As it’s done in the past, Activision has launched a new Call of Duty Endowment Courage personalization pack for Infinite Warfare, with all proceeds going to the charity.
The personalization pack comes with a weapon camo and weapon accessory, as well as a themed reticle and emblem. It also includes an animated calling card. The DLC sells for $5, and is available right now on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One through each platform’s digital store. Here’s what it looks like:
To mark the personalization pack’s release, developer Infinity Ward will host a livestream event through the studio’s Twitch channel on Friday, December 9, starting at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET. Studio members, voice actors, and “special guests” will appear in the broadcast.
The Call of Duty Endowment, which launched in 2009, has to date placed thousands of military veterans in jobs.
“Infinity Ward is thrilled to partner with the Endowment to support getting vets back to work,” Infinity Ward studio head Dave Stohl said in statement. “We’ve poured our hearts into making the incredibly cool, specially themed C.O.D.E. Courage personalization pack. The pack features more ways than ever before to help players demonstrate their charity and show a willingness to help the most veterans possible as they come home from war and readjust to civilian life.”
Call of Duty Endowment executive director Dan Goldenberg added: “Employment is vital to providing stability when transitioning from military to civilian life. Infinity Ward, Treyarch, Sony and Microsoft continue to be indispensable partners in this effort, as the in-game program would not be possible without their generosity and commitment. We are grateful for their continued support.”
