Paramount Pictures has released the first trailer for The Lovebirds, the new romantic action-comedy which pairs the team of Kumail Nanjiani with director Michael Showalter (The Big Sick) again.
In the film, a couple (Nanjiani and Issa Rae) experiences a defining moment in their relationship when they are accidentally embroiled in a murder mystery.
As their journey to clear their names takes them from one extreme circumstance to the next, they must figure out how they, and their relationship, can survive the night.
Sparks, Anna Camp and Kyle Bornheimer also star in the film which makes its world debut at SXSW this March ahead of opening on April 3rd 2020.
