Universal Pictures has unveiled the new trailer for Robert Zemeckis‘ true story drama Welcome to Marwen starring Steve Carell, Eiza Gonzalez, Diane Kruger, Leslie Mann, Merritt Wever, Janelle Monae, Neil Jackson and Matt O’Leary.
Carell plays a man who was subjected to a devastating attack that wipes away all memories. Putting together pieces from his old and new life, he meticulously creates a wondrous town where he can heal and be heroic and through which he draws strength to triumph in the real world.
Steve Starkey, Jack Rapke and Cherylanne Martin are producing the film.
Welcome to Marwen opens on December 21st.
