Titanfall 2 is set to reveal a lot of new gameplay details at E3, some of which have been leaked early for the new Xbox One, PC and PS4 title.
Titanfall 2 is set to be officially unveiled during the EA Play event during the week of E3, fans will learn more at 9pm BST, on June 12.
More information about the Respawn Entertainment game has reportedly leaked before its big reveal, including new gameplay details and when to expect its launch.
According to an online source posting information to Reddit, the game will introduce grappling hooks, as well as bigger maps to accommodate larger multiplayer battles.
The Titanfall 2 release date has reportedly been set for October, the same month as Battlefield 1 is set to be released.
On the surface this seems like a dubious move, why would the publisher want to launch games of the same genre just weeks apart?
Well, one theory is that EA are hoping to dominate the market share that has been controlled by the Call of Duty franchise. Infinite Warfare will be released in November, 2016.
One of the biggest game changes will come with the new Grappling Hook pilot ability; players will be able to use them to pull others in midair and use them to navigate to their Titans more effectively.
