“Flowers in the Attic,” Lifetime’s upcoming adaptation of author V.C. Andrews’ creepy romance thriller popular with generations of teenage girls, has its first official trailer.
In the TV movie, Kiernan Shipka stars as pretty blonde ballet dancer Cathy who lives in suburbia with her perfect, post-war nuclear family — until tragedy strikes and her doe-eyed mother Corrine (played by Heather Graham) forces them to move in with her overbearing parents. In the film, Ellen Burstyn plays the evil, vindictive grandmother who reigns punishment on Cathy, her mother and her siblings.
Lifetime will air the movie at 8 p.m. on January 18, 2014.
