The Microsoft HoloLens is coming to an augmented reality near you.
Through October, Microsoft will host demos of the mixed-reality headset at select Microsoft Stores across the US and Canada. Things kicked off in Bellevue, Wash., where visitors to the Microsoft Store there can try out HoloLens until Sept. 11.
The company’s roadshow will then be in Palo Alto, California, and Mississauga, Ontario between Sept. 15-18 before hitting stops in Mission Viejo, Calgary, Dallas, Boston, Houston, Tysons Corner, Chicago, Atlanta, Orlando, and Bloomington, Minnesota (full list below).
You can’t just show up and strap on a HoloLens, though. Everyone must pre-register for a 15-minute session—a process that requires Microsoft log-in details. All remaining Bellevue public sessions are full.
