Independent Dutch game developer Two Tribes has released the first trailer for Toki Tori 2, follow up to the original hit, Toki Tori. The game first appeared over ten years ago on the Game Boy Color. It was relaunched as a Wii Ware game in 2008 and has also appeared on PC/Mac/Playstation3/iPhone/iPad/Android.
The game’s creators feel that it is especially unique because the are “creating a platform / puzzle game with a living, breathing game world where the creatures that inhabit it act as the tools for the player to solve the puzzles. The game is designed to reward player curiosity, and does not have any artificial game play limitations such as locked doors or invisible walls. Players are able to make their way through the game based on the level of knowledge they have of the game world. Need more info on this? Toki Tori 2 will release for the PC first via Steam. Releases are planned subsequently for iOS, Android and Wii U.
