NBC has made official what most “Voice” fans already suspected: Season 6 of the show will debut the day after the Winter Olympics end and will feature returning judges Shakira and Usher.
The next cycle of the singing competition will debut Monday, Feb. 24, one day after the Winter Olympics closing ceremony. It will open with a two-hour episode that day and follow up with an hour-long installment on Tuesday, Feb. 25; both are set for 8 p.m. ET.
As they did for the spring 2013 season, Shakira and Usher are taking over the judges’ chairs occupied by Christina Aguilera and CeeLo Green in the fall. Adam Levine and Blake Shelton will continue their runs on the show.
