Verizon has now made public some details of its Xbox 360 Live TV service first mentioned back at the start of October. Through their Xbox 360, Xbox Live Gold members will have the ability to access up to 26 live FiOS TV channels, depending on their subscription. They also need to be FiOS TV and Internet service subscribers.
Viewers can also control the TV watching experience using voice and gesture commands through Kinect. To get users onboard, Verizon is offering a package that ends on January 21 that bundles FiOS TV, FiOS 35/35Mbps Internet service, and voice service for $90 per month. Also thrown in is a 12-month Xbox Live Gold Membership and a copy of Xbox Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary to play.
The required FiOS TV app for the Xbox 360 goes live on December 6th along with the fall Xbox 360 Dashboard update.
