Twitter today announced that it is shutting down Vine, its short-clip mobile video service.
Existing content will remain at vine.com, but the mobile app will be discontinued in the coming months.
Twitter launched in 2013, but is being wound down amid Twitter’s efforts to cut costs and reach profitability.
