At this year’s CES Vizio displayed its larger-than-life 120″ Reference Series Ultra HD Smart TV, announces a sub-$1,000 pricing on its 50″ P-Series Ultra HD Smart TV, along with other HDTV, audio, smart TV and computing products. But we have learned today, After a number of successful showcases during CES, that 2014 marks Vizio’s final CES week showcase.
In a press release the firm said it will focus on closer alignment with retail partners, adjusting to ever-changing customer dynamics and making announcements when it’s right for the brand. So Vizio will be looking towards new ways to showcase its innovative products and technologies moving forward.
“Positive recognition from the press and multiple awards helped make this year’s CES showcase the best yet for Vizio,” said Matt McRae, Chief Technology Officer, Vizio. “With that, since the timing of CES generally doesn’t align with our product announcements, we’ll be looking to other innovative ways to deliver news and display products heading into 2014. Consumers, retailers and press can continue to expect multiple new product and technology announcements throughout the year, just at more opportune times for Vizio.”
