Watch the Ratchet & Clank Story Trailer

Sony has released a new trailer for its upcoming PlayStation 4 game Ratchet & Clank, a game based on the upcoming movie, which is based on the game. Check it out:

The new PS4 game and the animated movie, both are which are due out in April, tell the same story–an origin tale for the characters and world. Sony explains that, while both will have the “same major beats and character arcs,” the movie is more focused on character development. The game, as you might have guessed and can see in this new trailer, places its focus more squarely on action.

Ratchet & Clank for PS4, a reimagining of the first game, runs at 1080p/30fps and is expected to be 10-12 hours. It’s also a budget-priced game, available for $40 instead of $60. It launches on April 12, which is just a couple weeks before the movie, which has an impressive voice cast, comes to theaters on April 29.
