This Thursday on Parks and Recreation (NBC, 8/7c), Ben’s preparation of his own will and testament gets Ron Swanson, of all people, pondering mortality — or at least how the government might profit from his ultimate passing.
In this first look from the episode, Ben interrupts Ron’s compound bow maintenance to ask if he’ll be a witness to his and Leslie’s will, prompting Ron to riff on lawyers and other useless occupations. Ron also whips out his own will, which he wrote at age 8 and keeps in his wallet.
Elsewhere in the half-hour: Leslie tries to keep a minor scandal from getting blown out of proportion, while Tom woos a possible new love interest, played by Orphan Black‘s Tatiana Maslany.
