Studio Wildcard have been keeping fans on the Microsoft console up to date with how things are progressing, having recently dropped a large update to bring it more in line with the PC version.
The developers have also revealed that split-screen co-op play is set to be added to the game very soon, something rather unique in today’s online gaming age.
ARK: Survival Evolved’s performance on Xbox One has also been looked out, with recent testing revealing that frame rate issues connected with highly detailed areas are still prevalent.
Co-Founder of Studio Wildcard, Jesse Rapczak recently gave an update on the game’s optimisation, telling fans not to worry as it is still very early days.

“Don’t worry about @survivetheark optimization, we haven’t started yet. Game is still Pre-Alpha with significant features yet to be added,” Rapczak tweeted to fans.
The Wildcare co-founder also answered some question in connection with the PS4 version of the survival title, telling them to badger Sony about creating it’s own Early Access program.
“That is up to Sony. Make sure to ask them for an early access program if you want ARK on PS4 – before it finally launches!” he added.
