Microsoft’s Games With Gold lineup for June 2017 includes four games and a bonus piece of add-on content, the company announced today.
Xbox One owners will be able to download SpeedRunners all month long. The side-scrolling multiplayer title from DoubleDutch Games debuted in April 2016 on Linux, Mac and Windows PC; its arrival in the Games With Gold program coincides with its release on Xbox One. From June 16 through July 15, the free game will be 2014’s Watch Dogs, the Chicago-based open-world action game from Ubisoft.
On the Xbox 360 side, customers will be able to download a free copy of Assassin’s Creed 3 from June 1-15, while Dragon Age: Origins will be free during the second half of the month. As always, both of the games are playable on Xbox One via backward compatibility.
There’s a fifth piece of content available for all of June: a multiplayer add-on for the Xbox One re-release of Phantom Dust, which debuted a week ago on Xbox One and Windows PC for free. The DLC pack will be available free via Games With Gold, and it will cost $14.99 for people who aren’t Xbox Live Gold subscribers.
