Microsoft has issued an update for its Xbox One Skype application, adding a new filtering feature and expanding chat logging functionality, among other user-requested improvements.
Post-update, Skype on Xbox One now logs the last 1,000 messages received, whereas the previous version only recorded the last seven days’ worth of content. The Xbox One’s Skype app also now filters player friend lists by online status, giving priority to active users.
Other additions include a tutorial for first-time users, a new set of Captain America: The Winter Soldier-themed emoticons, and an array of bugfixes. The update is available for free via Xbox Live starting today.
