It sounds like the next Xbox One update will offer some sort of link to the Windows 10 Anniversary update announced at Microsoft’s Build event recently.
According to Xbox & Windows Gaming Platform Engineer Mike Ybarra on Twitter, the update will roll out to preview members this spring. Even further, it will have “key gaming features.”

What exactly will this update offer? That much hasn’t been clarified. It’s expected that Cortana support is coming soon, alongside the ability to play background music while gaming and the option turn any Xbox One into a development kit.
The connection to Windows 10 Anniversary seems to suggest more significance, though.
