Google has made YouTube VR is available on more platforms and devices.
For example, owners of Samsung’s Galaxy S devices and the accompanying Samsung Gear VR headset can now download YouTube VR from the Oculus store and experience YouTube VR on their existing headset.
A new “watch together” icon now appears in YouTube VR, allowing multiple people to enjoy and comment on VR clips at the same time.
The communal space is supported by Google’s DayDream VR and Samsung’s Gear VR viewers. Last, Google says more creators are sharing content via YouTube VR, such as Olympic athletes and daredevils.
Support for Samsung Gear and the new watch together feature are rolling out this week.
