Microsoft has just released its latest version of Zune media player and synch software, version 4.7. 4.7 now has support for Windows Phone 7 devices that were officially announced today on-top of compatibility with Zune HD and other Zunes. HD video streaming is also part of the new update for viewing of rentals or purchases immediately.
With the program, users can have access to Zune Pass Music, TV shows, movies, trailers and podcasts. Zune services will be part of all Windows Phone 7 devices, accessed through the Music+Video hub. The software will also sync contact data and other non-media info.
Existing Zune users will be pinged to update their software the next time they launch the Zune software.
