Sarah Brody, an 17-year Apple veteran, has been hired by PayPal as its new VP of global design. Some of her design work can reportedly be seen in the first-generation iPhone, as well as in an early version of the iPod nano. Other examples are said to be located on the webpages for Final Cut Studio, Logic Studio and the general “Pro” page marketing Apple products to corporations and freelancers.
Brody will be responsible for improving the user side of PayPal’s service, namely by making it easier to use. The hire could be a significant coup for PayPal.
